Dulgies Chocolate Forest Cherry Cheesecake

I've been yearning to for Dulgies Choco Dream Cake for almost three weeks already until me and Rolly had our time together, all alone to indulge on it. However, when we were already at the shop I've seen none of the Choco Dream Cake that I'm yearning, I felt a little exhausted for a minute but I thought that it is a great time to taste some of the other cakes on the house.

There was the usual cakes but I got my eyes on this Chocolate Forest Cherry Cheesecake and it got a "new" tag on it. It looks yummy and sumptuous so I decided to have it and a cup of coffee to compliment with.

The verdict. I love it. Its something that I want to eat over and over again. I even forgot my cravings for the Choco Dream Cake. The unavailability of Choco Dream Cake made me discover the yumminess of this cake.

It was a long weekend for me. I started my weekend on a Friday yesterday. I got no work, no school because its Graciano Lopez Jaena Day and its a holiday!

Graciano Lopez Jaena is one of our National Heroes that was born here in Iloilo , Philippines. Making him as an Ilonggo National Hero. Ilonggo by the way is what we are called - people born in Iloilo, Philippines.

Thanks for the holiday, I got some time to do my laundry and fix some stuffs in my room. And me and boyfriend got a chance to go on a date. Well, we just went to the mall had fun on looking on stuffs such as geeky shirts, chocolates, bags and shoes. And we even stopped and watched on the fashion show of local designers. Their creations were brilliant. Anyway, because the day was something special for both Rolly and me so we shared on a bowl of mabo tofu ramen and jurassic maki at Rai Rai Ken - a japanese restaurant inside the mall. The maki was sumptuous and great. My last was like 3 months ago so having it again made me appreciate its taste.

Indeed I had a great time spending the holiday with my special someone. Looking forward for the coming days where I spend my time not on my work, school or students.

Wish List

Few more days from now and its already December. First thing that comes into my mind during this time is spending quality time with my love ones and sharing. If ever Santa Clause is real I'll have my wish list sent over to him. But Santa isn't that real. But probably there may be people who are generous enough to make my wishes come true. (Thinking if ever there will be one. LOL) But below is my wish list.

I love donuts, but eating on my desk? Its a big no no, unless I want to have ants on my keyboard and worst inside my CPU. Prednisolone for Migraine?

I had a very bad night last night other, who else won't if you got a very unstable internet connection and migraine together. I was experiencing again a very bad headache on the top part of my head last night that affected my productivity at work. Most of you will advise me to pop some pain killers but they are a no no for me, I'm allergic to those. I am only allowed to have paracetamols, no meifanamic acid or ibuprofen.

Usually, I take a 650mg of Tylenol every 3 or 4 hrs to ease the pain of migraine. And it will take me like 3-4 tablets before it will go away. And another thing that I usually do is to have a cold compress on my head and at the back of my neck using my gel hot and cold packs and of course some great head massage. Last night, I had no time neither for a massage of a cold compress for I was loaded of some tasks. Thus, waking up in the morning with a migraine is a killer. I can't barely move, because every time that I do my head hurts. After I had my breakfast I had another dose of tylenol again. But I remembered that I still got Optipred a Prednisolone.

As you may not know, I've been under medication for my asthma and allergies, and one of my prescriptions was either Prednisone or Prednisolone. Both are corticosteroids, and is use to treat a lot of conditions commonly it used anti inflammatory. These medications has a lot of benefits but it also has various side effects such as weight gain, moon- face, mood swings, constipation, acne and more.

How does prednisolone or corticosteroids gives relief to migraine?

According to Wikipedia, when certain nerves or an area in the brain stem become irritated, a migraine begins. In response to the irritation, the body releases chemicals which cause inflammation of the blood vessels. These chemicals cause further irritation of the nerves and blood vessels that results in pain.

And because prednisone, prednisolone or corticosteroids in general are anti- inflammatory drugs, thus it is effective for the relief of migraine in which blood vessels becomes inflamed.

There are certain reasons why migraine occurs. However, if migraine attacks persists you should not self medicate and you need to see your physician for proper diagnosis and treatment.

New Shoes

Its a gloomy day today, but I still managed to go out and check some rubber shoes. I have been planning to buy myself a new pair of rubber shoes = my sports shoes for it has been already 3 years since i got my old one.

I got a little nauseous choosing the shoes that I want. But I ended up picking the Nike Xccelerated having the brilliant magenta color which suits well with my pink sports bag too.

Whats the shoes for? Well, I play badminton and I'm planning to go back jogging.
I need to lose some weight, but not only that I want to be healthy too. Hope tomorrow I'll be wearing my new shoes in our badminton game.

Unfit and Im Unhappy About It

I have been feeling lazy and sleepy for almost a couple of weeks already. And I've noticed that I have gained some noticeable weight already. I've been working conveniently at home for almost five months already and whenever I'm at home working I can't help it having a cup of coffee or some food to munch on. And maybe this is the reason of my weight gain.

However, what bothers me lately is that I felt sleepy most of the time. My work starts at 4pm until 12am or sometimes i do have over times. I know i have an abnormal schedule compared to something which is supposed to be but i think i do get enough sleep everyday like 4- 6 hours a day, but still i feel so sleepy and not only that my appetite increased too.

I feel upset about this. I feel unfit. And this is getting serious, I need to to go back jogging and playing badminton. :(
